My family and I just brought this little puppy home a few weeks ago. I know what you're dealing with as a puppy owner.

You know, our expectations are pretty high for this little dog. We sure want a perfectly house trained puppy...and fast too! But we want a lot more than that too. Like some basic obedience skills and just generally good, socialized behavior from this little dog.

I've been around my share of bratty little dogs, if you know what I mean. Jumping all over you, making a mess everywhere, yapping constantly. No thank you. And the problem is, if you don't get started quickly with a puppy, you're in trouble. Adult dogs are a lot harder to train.

I've spent a lot of time looking at free dog training stuff on the Internet and it's hard to know what to believe. Some of the things you can read are just obviously goofy. Books are just the thing I need sometimes, but sometimes it's better to listen to someone who knows what they're talking about.

Anyway, I came upon this Chihuahua training course the other day. This is pretty unusual since it's an AUDIO Chihuahua training course. The thing is the course emphasizes that your dog wants to please you. It's just up to you to communicate with your puppy and channel your pup's desire to please.

But what about problems that come up? Like our puppy wanted to growl and bite. That's really weird for this little puppy to be acting all mad! Oh boy that was a problem. But we're past that now and doing great. And the house training? Couldn't have been easier and fast too!
